Simulator Engineering

Simulator Engineering

This 2 ½ day (05/03-05/05) class is for anyone who wants to have a better understanding of how to maintain and modify their training simulator.  Emphasis will be on the T-REX simulator environment, including the executive, instructor station, simulator databases, and tools and utilities.  Participants will learn tips on simulator load configuration, instructor station configuration and maintenance, taking models in and out of the load, and maintaining simulator configuration control.  This class is an in-person extension of the popular simulator engineer webinars conducted by CORYS during 2022 and 2023.

Classes will cover effective use of Microsoft Visual Studio for simulator troubleshooting and maintenance.  By popular demand a class on how to perform cycle updates of the S3R reactor core models has been added.

Multiple instructors will ensure personalized instruction is available.  Realistic, hands-on training exercises will be an integral part of each classroom lesson.

Computers with a simulator load and Developers Studio will be supplied to participants.
